Who We Are
N3Sleep is the consulting division of DreamSleep, a nationwide network of dentists and physicians committed to saving lives affected by Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
Our mission is to educate, train and enable dentists to provide oral appliance therapy. We want to change how Obstructive Sleep Apnea is treated in the dental and medical communities – moving away from a transactional model towards a long-term coalition. We will do this by educating and training dentists, providing the necessary tool and forging connections with physicians.
Our philosophy is that face-to-face, in-office training is the best, most effective and quickest way to get offices up and running with oral appliance therapy. Too many dentists have struggled with the old model of weekend seminars and lectures. Too much is lost in the translation from the classroom to the clinical setting. In-office training and coaching with real patients allows dental professionals to put knowledge into a clinical context, incorporate real-world techniques immediately and then quickly learn from and correct mistakes – without the frustration and wasted time of trying to learn it on their own, through trial and error.
We train our providers to refer patients at risk to qualified physicians for diagnosis and prescription of an appropriate therapy. All DreamSleep providers are required to achieve accreditation in the fundamentals of dental sleep medicine and oral appliance therapy for sleep-related breathing disorders. We train our providers to use objective data to verify the efficacy of oral appliance therapy as permitted within their scope of practice and in accordance with their state dental practice acts. DreamSleep providers are trained to refer patients back to the physician for confirmation of treatment efficacy after fitting and titration of an oral appliance. DreamSleep providers are trained to provide timely, appropriate and ongoing follow-up care to manage dental-related side effects of oral appliance therapy. N3Sleep believes that close teamwork with physicians is essential for successful management of sleep-related breathing disorders using oral appliance therapy.
We want dentists to succeed at helping people.
To accomplish this goal we have assembled a team of experienced sleep professionals. Each member of this team brings highly specialized knowledge to the team.
